Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! Today, we’re diving deep into my personal experience with Aishi Tokyo Glutathione, a product made in the Philippines. This is part 2 of my series; in part 1, I talked about the ingredients, packaging, dosage, and administration. In this post, I’ll focus more on my personal experience with this glutathione supplement. I aim to be transparent and thorough in my reviews, so you guys get an accurate picture and we can avoid misunderstandings. So, let’s get started!

In brief, here is a quick recap of the Ingredients.
Before I share my experience, let’s quickly go over the ingredients again:
1. L-Glutathione Free Form 400 mg: The main ingredient.
2. NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) 100 mg: An FDA-approved drug with antioxidant properties that may help prevent cancer.
3. Vitamin C 75 mg: Known as the king of antioxidants, also a brightening ingredient.
4. Rosehips Extract 25 mg: I enjoy rosehips tea and this extract has antioxidant properties.
5. Polypodium Leucotomos 50 mg: This rhizome extract acts as an antioxidant, photoprotectant, antimutagenic, anti-inflammatory, and immunoregulator.
6. Pearl Powder 25 mg: Boosts superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione, aiding in disease prevention and potentially extending life.
7. ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) 18 mg: An antioxidant that protects against cell damage.
8. Zinc 5 mg: Essential for cell growth, immune function, enzyme reactions, DNA synthesis, and protein production.
9. Biotin 2 mg: Not a fan due to its potential to trigger acne, but the low dose here shouldn’t be a problem for acne-prone skin.
That’s a total of 700 mg in one capsule.

Aishi Tokyo Glutathione comes in a pinkish plastic bottle with 60 capsules inside. The packaging looks okay, not too fancy but functional. What do you guys think of the bottle? Let me know in the comments below.
My Personal Experience
First Try
It took me some time to finally start taking this supplement due to past experiences. When I first tried it, I took it for 8 days straight. Here’s what happened:
• Day 1: Mild stomachache after taking it. It wasn’t strong, just a moderate, uncomfortable sensation. Felt tired the next day.
• Day 2: Took it after dinner and experienced the same mild stomach pains. Still felt tired the next morning.
• Days 3-8: Continued feeling mild stomach pains and fatigue. Decided to stop drinking ginger tea to see if it made a difference. The stomach pains subsided but the fatigue remained. Also felt slightly stressed.
Second Try
A month later, I decided to give it another go for another 8 days:
• Days 1-8: No more stomach pains but still felt uncomfortable and tired. Also felt slightly stressed. Decided to stop after 8 days again.
Potential Benefits
Despite the side effects, there were some positive outcomes:
• No Acne: It did not trigger any pimples, which is a plus for acne-prone skin like mine.
• Better Sleep: Improved sleep quality.
• Appetite Control: Felt less hungry, which could help with weight management.
• Softer Skin: My skin felt softer and a bit more moisturized, although less glowing compared to other glutathione and beauty supplements I’ve tried.
Final Thoughts
So, would I recommend Aishi Tokyo Glutathione? If you’re looking for a locally available and affordable glutathione supplement, it might be worth considering. However, due to the side effects I experienced, I personally won’t be taking it again and will likely give the remaining capsules to a friend.
Remember, my experience is just one perspective. You might have different results, so if you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. What do you think of the ingredients, packaging, and the results you got?
